I’m an experienced voice over artist with a warm and assured, gently northern voice, and over the years I’ve worked on many different projects and with a wide range of material. I can employ different accents when required, and I’ve particularly enjoyed working on the audio books of Bone Music and Island by David Almond, and Cuddy by Benjamin Myers where I’ve been able to indulge in my native Northeastern tongue.

Cuddy by Benjamin Myers

A bold and experimental retelling of the story of the hermit St. Cuthbert, unofficial patron saint of the North of England. Incorporating poetry, prose, play, diary and real historical accounts to create a novel like no other, Cuddy straddles historical eras - from the first Christian-slaying Viking invaders of the holy island of Lindisfarne in the 8th century to a contemporary England defined by class and austerity.

A story of hope and joy: under a boundless starry sky, the unforgettable Sylvia Carr finds out what it means to be brave. This wonderful tale transports the reader from the city to the forests and fells of Northern England.
